The State of Teaching: What K-12 Leaders Should Know
March 4 at 4:00 p.m. CT, Austin Convention Center (Room 15)
Join local teachers and education leaders to explore what teacher job satisfaction looks like in two states and identify strategies that have the strongest potential to improve their morale. At these free, in-person events, EdWeek’s researchers and journalists—along with Chalkbeat, our local partner — will discuss the state of the teaching profession and share national and state-level findings from our exclusive survey.
The events include panel discussions and interactive workshops to illuminate teachers’ views on professional development, stress points such as workloads and student behavior, and the levers school and district leaders can pull to enhance teacher job satisfaction.
