Emma Patti Harris is a deputy managing editor for Education Week who oversees visuals and immersive experiences including web and print design, graphics, photography, and videography. Before joining Education Week in 2019, she oversaw audience, social media, interactive design, and visuals at The Baltimore Sun and helped the organization become a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize after the death of Freddie Gray and the riots in Baltimore. She has a bachelor’s degree in photojournalism and multimedia from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
