Eugene G. White has been chosen as president-elect of the American Association of School Administrators by the organization’s membership. He will serve one-year terms as president-elect, president, and past president, starting this summer.
Since 1994, Mr. White, 57, has been the superintendent of the 10,100-student Metropolitan School District of Washington Township in Indianapolis. He previously served as the deputy superintendent of the 39,100-student Indianapolis public schools.
The Arlington, Va.-based AASA is a professional organization representing more than 13,000 school administrators across the country.
