John L. Anderson has been appointed to the board of directors of the Institute for Student Achievement. He will begin his three-year term on Nov. 3.
Mr. Anderson, an education consultant based in Durango, Colo., previously served on the board of the New American Schools, an education-consulting organization that is now the consulting arm of the American Institutes for Research.
The Lake Success, N.Y.-based ISA is a school redesign organization that partners with 32 schools in 10 districts in Georgia, New York, and Virginia.
