Nicholas C. Donohue has been named the president and chief executive officer of the Nellie Mae Education Foundation, a Quincy, Mass.-based philanthropy that provides grants and other support to education programs in New England. Mr. Donohue, 47, is a former state commissioner of education for New Hampshire.
