A senior at Badger High School in Lake Geneva, Wis., received a three-day suspension and a $249 ticket after he attended the school prom wearing a dress and “simulated suggestive sexual behavior” while dancing over another student, according to school officials.

The student has entered a not guilty plea to a charge of disorderly conduct made by the school police liaison.

Administrators at the 1,200-student high school said they suspended Kerry Lofy, 18, because he failed to follow the district’s behavior guidelines for the dance, which were handed out beforehand to all attendees. Mr. Lofy claimed that other students were dancing suggestively at the event, but were not disciplined.
