‘New Leaders’ Gets Support

New Leaders for New Schools, a New York City-based organization that trains principals in several major cities, has received a grant of $9.2 million from the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation and $500,000 from the Walton Family Foundation. New Leaders said the grants would help it train a corps of more than 700 principals by 2008.
