Too often, the training is focused on the technology rather than the learning goals or it is not as practical and immediately applicable as teachers need it to be.

The days of shuffling educators or teachers-in-training into a big room and teaching them the same skills, at the same pace, in a lecture format are likely gone forever due to the pandemic.
