Caleb M. Schutz became the president of the nonprofit JASON Foundation for Education this month.
For eight years, Mr. Schutz, 48, served as the president of the MCI Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Ashburn, Va.-based telecommunications company. In that time, he was also the founder and president of the MarcoPolo Education Foundation, a nonprofit consortium of education groups and the MCI Foundation.
The Needham, Mass.-based JASON Foundation for Education develops science and math curricula and other programs.
