• An article on textbooks in the Sept. 19, 2007, issue of Education Week incorrectly attributed to Mark Schneiderman, the director of education policy for the Software and Information Industry Association, statements that should have been attributed to Trace Urdan, a San Francisco-based investment analyst at Signal Hill Capital Management LLC. In addition, the same story should have attributed to Mr. Schneiderman, not to Jay A. Diskey, a statement that a 2004 SIIA policy document represented the group’s current viewpoint.
