Career Counseling
The William Penn Foundation, a Philadelphia-based philanthropy, has awarded a three-year grant of nearly $300,000 to Foundations, Inc., a Moorestown, N.J.-based nonprofit organization that provides after-school and skill-building programs for youths in the Philadelphia community. The grant will support job readiness and career counseling programs at the Job Resource and Development Center at Martin Luther King High School in Northwest Philadelphia and is intended to help decrease high school dropout rates.
