Morton Sherman has become the chairman of the board for the Goldie Hawn Institute, a Santa Monica, Calif.-based philanthropy that focuses on improving the social and emotional health of children. Mr. Sherman, 57, is the superintendent of the 3,400-student Tenafly public school district in New Jersey.
