Wilfredo T. Laboy was named the president of the tucson, Ariz.-based Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents last month. He will serve a two-year term.
Mr. Laboy, 54, is the superintendent of the 13,000-student Lawrence, Mass., public schools.
